After the Covid-19 pandemic, the healthcare industry has become more important than ever. Tarsons Products Ltd, headquartered in West Bengal, is an Indian life science company engaged in the design and development of consumables, reusable and desktop computers , Manufacturing and marketing equipment-a large-scale expansion plan has been launched and two new manufacturing facilities are being added.

Tarsons has a 20% market share in India, and Karnataka is their largest market.
Tarsons has five manufacturing plants-Jangalpur, Dhulagarh, Kasba, Burroshibtalla I and Burroshibtalla II.
Two more factories will be built in Panchla and Amta in Howrah.
Tarsons chairman and managing director Sanjive Sehgal, his son, full-time director Rohan Sehgal, and company executives shared the company's plans when talking to DH.
“The two new factories are expected to be completed in 18 to 24 months,” Sanjive Sehgal said.
The total expansion plan is approximately 2.6 billion rupees.
Rohan Sehgal stated that Tarsons expects to raise 1.5 billion rupees to advance its expansion plan. He added: “The Covid-19 pandemic has led to increased long-term demand for laboratory investigations, vaccine development activities and clinical trials and is driving growth.”
Tarsons' customers include Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Enzene Biosciences, Syngene International, Veeda Clinical Research, Molbio Diagnostics, Agappe Diagnostics, Metropolis Healthcare, Dr Lal Path Labs, Mylab Life Solutions, etc.
Tarsons provides products to more than 40 countries/regions, including developed markets and emerging markets, through a combination of brand and ODM sales.
In Jangalpur (14,220 square meters), they manufacture key products such as pipette tips, petri dishes, PCR plates, microcentrifuge tubes, pipettes, bottles, and in Dhulagarh (4,046 square meters) they manufacture centrifuge tubes and freezer utensils , Microcentrifuge tubes; Burroshibtolla I (530 sq mts) produces key products such as dryers, utility trays, drying trays, specimen containers, etc.; Burroshibtolla II (I,022 sq mt) produces Ria vials, suction bottles, conical flasks, and funnels , KIPPS instruments and other key products; Kasba (277 sq mts) launched centrifuges, magnetic stirrers, and vibrators.
"We have a diversified product portfolio, covering more than 1,700 SKUs of 300 products," said Rohan Sehgal.
"In terms of space, Panchla (21,550 square meters) and Amta's two new facilities will be larger than the sum of the existing five facilities," he pointed out.
At the Panchla plant, Tarsons aims to increase the production capacity of existing products, such as micropipette tips, cryotubes, and launch new products, including PCR plates, deep well plates, screw cap tubes, and volumetric flasks, thereby contributing to business growth Provide a platform.
The company plans to develop a new fulfillment center in Amta that meets global standards. The internal disinfection center will be located here.
